Dub Marines had been a pipe dream for some time, but after discussions with like minded Dubbers at the Edition 38 Show 2005, it soon became a reality.

We had all met through the Club GTI forum, where we collectively spent many hours chatting with one another about not only a mutual love of cars but general banter, piss taking and chit chat as you do.

With Club GTI being a family site, and the moderators getting ever hotter on our mischievous heels, we decided that it was high time that we created a forum where pretty much anything goes so as not to directly offend other users with our mindless ramblings and general tomfoolery.

14 'Generals' were appointed who generally ensure that the Club runs smoothly and that we are featured at shows up and down the land.

And so, the Dub Marines boards opened their doors on September 8th 2005, and since then we have managed to knock up a staggering 85,000 posts as I write this, the majority of them created by MikeDub, now and then helped out by the 487 other members.

The members are at the forefront of the success of Dub Marines, we have a great bunch of people from all over the World that use the forum daily, some how we manage to get a load of us together at various meets and shows round the country, and our first major show with banners and a gazebo was at Ultimate Dubs in the early part of this year.
